Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year Machado families!! My names is Heidi Torres and I am honored to be your Dean of Students. I look forward to what this school year has in store for us as we STEAM forward with our PBIS, AVID and STEAM systems for success. As your Dean, I look forward to a great year of opportunities and successes for students, staff, families and community members.

At Machado, we believe working together is vital to student success. We encourage families to get involved through PTA, ELAC, School Site Council, Family Nights, Pastries with the Principal and Dean, Family Universities, Volunteer Program, ESL classes, Meet the Masters and many more school events.

Attendance is important to the success of our Machado scholars. We would like to remind you that EVERY DAY COUNTS! Please remember to help your child get to school on time every day and allow them to stay the full day to maximize their academic and social success.
