On Friday, March 10, 2017, at 2:30 pm, Machado Elementary will hold the Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony for our Community Literacy Center in honor of our dear friend, Norma Almazan. Norma's Nest will open to the community Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school from 1:45 - 3:00 pm. In Norma's Nest, students and parents will have access to iPads for research and AR tests. Homework assistance will also be provided. There are also countless books to enjoy reading with your family. Please join us on March 10th at 2:30 pm for the Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony. Cake and punch will be served!
